This big one is no city dweller. So I was surprised to spot them at the center of the city, living on some big old trees. It is incredible!

(Had to stretch the zoom in low light, hence the grains).

  2. Once we had a big Eucalyptus tree in our flats and there was a huge nest – In it there was a kite living. The bird was huge!! But now neither the tree is there nor the kite!

  3. I am coming to a rather militant belief that we must preserve every creation…even so-called pests, for eco balance is something man cannot grasp in its entirety.

  5. It’s definitely an Ibis. Might just be a glossy Ibis, but it’s hard to tell.
